About OUTreach Denton
We are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer people who are developing LGBTQ+ resources in Denton, Texas. OUTreach Denton was created out of a need assessed by the members of the Denton Unitarian Universalist Fellowship who, in 2010, recognized that Denton needed a place where LGBTQ+ youth and adults could gather for mutual support, resources, organizing, advocacy, and fun. The founding of OUTreach Denton was inspired largely by the efforts of the late Bruce Jarstfer whose courage and activism continue to inspire us.

Adrienne (they/them)
Co-Chair
Adrienne is a gender expansive, queer, Latinx person from an immigrant family. They enjoy collaborating with others and are deeply committed to building intentional communities rooted in care. Adrienne finds joy in snacking on anything chocolate, crafting, spending time with friends, tending to their plants, and cuddles with their furbabies.
Jenny (no pronouns)
Co-Chair
Jenny has been volunteering with OUTreach Denton since 2019. Jenny’s favorite OUTreach memories are spending time with the Spectrum group. Outside of OUTreach, Jenny loves watching sports!
Rachel (she/her)
Treasurer
Rachel likes to find hidden gems around Denton county, foraging for rocks and plants to use in their art.
Morgan (she/her)
Secretary
Morgan enjoys reading (graphic novels, zines, low fantasy, horror) and crafting (needlework, mixed media). She loves “composing” original and remixed songs for her partner, dog, and 2 black cats.
Mosacio (he/they)
Mosi is a proud Tejane with a strong love for Selena & mariachi. They are a new Dentonite, but love the accessibility of the city. He is also joyously disabled, queer, trans, & a proud tia. Mosi is currently building their confidence learning salsa & bachata! They love artistic expression of all forms, especially singing & poetry. Mosi has dedicated their life to both their own recovery & the healing of their communities. Special shoutout to his pup & favorite house plant Catrina.
Bethany (she/her)
Bethany’s favorite hobbies are reading, baking, and taking care of her houseplants. She has 3 cats but thinks dogs are cool too! She is passionate about social justice and loves the Denton community.
Andi (they/them)
Andi loves spending time with their 2 dogs and 3 cats at home. They also enjoy the occasional Disney trip or cruise. They may at any time have their hair dyed various colors of the rainbow.
Murry (they/them)
Murry is like the goofy sidekick on a sitcom. They always felt a little bit like a weird kid so now they make it a mission to ensure everyone feels seen and welcome. They love making people laugh, seeing movies with friends, personalizing their clothes, and they especially love sharing their vast knowledge of tv shows or early internet culture.
Erin (she/her)
Erin is a theatre person, bookworm, movie enthusiast, and dog lover. She is excited to help create fun and safe spaces for the Denton LGBTQ+ community to come together.

Knitter and baker. Friend to all animals!
